Healing begins in safe spaces—and with you!

My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins in spaces where people feel seen, safe, and genuinely heard. I bring a trauma-informed, integrative lens to therapy—drawing from clinical training, lived experience, and a deep respect for each person’s capacity to rewrite their story.

I’ve spent the last several years supporting individuals and couples through experiences that often defy words—grief that lingers, transitions that reshape identity, and pain that feels too heavy to carry alone. I’m particularly drawn to the moments when clients begin to reclaim parts of themselves they thought were lost. Whether we’re navigating patterns rooted in trauma, exploring self-worth, or untangling relational dynamics, I aim to create a space that’s both reflective and forward-moving.

Therapy with me is collaborative. I don’t believe in “fixing” people—I believe in holding space for complexity and helping clients tap into their own resilience. I often incorporate brain-body based approaches like Brainspotting, especially when talk therapy alone isn’t enough to access or release stored emotional experiences.

Outside the therapy room, I find grounding in the simple joys of everyday life—quiet mornings, a good playlist, spontaneous road trips, playing with my two dogs, and laughing with my husband and daughter over nothing at all. You’ll often find me exploring new places, watching true crime documentaries, drinking an iced caramel macchiato, or winding down with music. I value balance, connection, and being present—things I also hope to help clients rediscover in their own lives. These moments, both big and small, sustain me and remind me of why I do this work.

About Pure Waves Counseling

Pure Waves Counseling was born from a vision: to create a space where people could slow down, feel deeply seen, and begin to heal in ways that feel authentic and lasting. After years of supporting individuals and couples through grief, trauma, transitions, and relationship challenges, I felt called to create something more personal—a space grounded in intention, warmth, and deep respect for each person’s journey.

The name Pure Waves is a tribute to my grandmother, whose quiet strength and compassion continue to guide my work. It reflects the natural rhythms of healing—the ebb and flow of emotion, the rising and settling of what lives in the body, and the clarity that emerges when we move through pain with presence.

The logo was designed with my husband and daughter in mind—two people who remind me daily of the importance of connection, joy, and grounding. Their love is woven into the heart of this practice, and into the space I hold for others.

Pure Waves is more than a practice—it’s a reflection of what I value most: depth, honesty, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens in relationship. My hope is that this space offers you a sense of steadiness as you reconnect with yourself and what matters most.
